Our twin-screw extruder gelatinize starch by heat generated by frictional extrusion of the screws. Then starch is extruded from a mould by high pressure, and the material instantly expands into pregelatinized starch pellet as soon as it enters the atmosphere. The modified starch pellets are dried, pulverized and screened to obtain pregelatinized modified starch.
By adjusting different raw materials, formulations, screw structures, etc., you can produce different requirements of pregelatinized starch, such as high viscosity modified starch, high solubility modified starch and so on.
